FAMILY VALUES

Kevin Ambler fought to Protect the Core Family Values Which are Shared in our Community.

I have been married to my college sweetheart for over 25 years, and we have tried to instill in our two children, Jason (21) and Jami (19) good, wholesome, core family values that will guide them as they now enter adulthood. As your conservative voice in Tallahassee, I have fought to protect these core family values which are shared in our community.

MILITARY

Having served as an Air Force Judge Advocate for over 22 years, my first bill I passed in the Florida House of Representatives in my first year in office was a bill known as the Florida Uniformed Servicemember’s Protection Act—this comprehensive legislation provided some of the most expansive and significant consumer protections for our troops and their families in the U.S.

TRANSPORTATION

Traffic congestion affects everyone. As this area continues to grow the stress on our roads has risen exponentially. Even though the cost of building roads are paid for (and sometimes shared) by counties, the state, and the federal government, in the past the coordination and cooperation between the three, and even between adjacent counties, like Hillsborough and Pasco, has been difficult.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Florida is renowned all over the world for its beautiful beaches, innumerable freshwater lakes and natural springs, and its vast stretches of pristine landscapes which span across the Everglades; and it is often featured for its diverse wildlife (birds, sea-life, reptiles, and animals) that thrive in its complex ecosystem, both on and off-shore.
